L2Gold Refining System

The Refining System allows you to upgrade S-Grade armor and jewelry. You can do this at the Mantra Manager Wilbert.


All S-Grade armor and jewelry start at 50% by default. You can refine them up to 100%, increasing the value in 5% steps.

As an example, we will use Draconic Leather Armor. Below are the items required for the first upgrade step (from 50% to 55%):





Here you can see the difference between 50%, 55%, and 100% refined armor:



Once your armor reaches 100%, you will be able to upgrade it to Apella armor:



Important things to know before refining:
- Refining cannot fail.
- If any armor piece has a different percentage than the others, the set bonus will be lost.
- Refining does not remove enchantments from your armor.
- For Heavy Armor, both Upper Body and Lower Body pieces must reach 100% before upgrading to a Full Body Apella.
